Jehovah Jireh - The God who provides

God always amazes me. I think I understand how loving He is and then somehow in the moment I forget He reminds me with something that has been planned before my doubt existed.

I can't do everything myself. I mean, I know I am amazing and all, but seriously there are some skills I simply don't possess, and some things I certainly can't do alone with 4 kiddos in tow.

They replaced non-functioning lights, completing electrical work I am unable to do.

After the high of recital, which was just so amazing, I felt this doubt come in my mind... God, how am I going to be able to do this alone? What am I going to do? There are so many man sized tasks that I can't ask for my spouse to do anymore, I know you love me, but I just need someone to take care of me... And don't we hear in sermon's all the time how God will supply our every need? But do we really trust that that is true? Well, now I do.

They climbed on the roof and cleaned out the gutters and cleaned every window inside and out

The doubt came into my mind, and then I got a reminder text about Walnut Creek Church's mission to the city where they serve local businesses over the Memorial Day holiday... So in my doubt car after car pulled up and the things I couldn't do, they did them. People I don't know, from a church I don't attend came and served me, a business they are not connected with.

They helped lable and sort water bottles, a daunting job if I had had to do it alone.

Why God? Why do you love me so much, why do you plan for what I will need before my moment of doubt even comes?

All I can do is turn to scripture and see the character of the Lord and how much He loves his children - he really is a good good father and all over His word He promises He will provide - His name alone Jehovah-Jireh - the God who provides shows who He is.

Phil 4:19 -GOD PROVIDES PEACE

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"

Phil 4:6-7 - GOD PROVIDES ALL WE NEED

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts. and your minds in Jesus Christ."

Psalms 1:6 - GOD WATCHES OVER ME

"For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous..."

I wouldn't trade my life for any other. The Lord has shown Himself so faithful, so loving, so giving of peace, joy and contentment... If you live and breathe in this world you will have trouble, and if you go it alone without the feeling of peace that passes all understanding I would love to help introduce you to the life giving God who. is Jesus Christ, because through Him all things really are possible, including peace and freedom.
